Sonic Sanctuary Studios was founded in 2010 by Maria Rodriguez and Ben Carter, two passionate audio engineers with a shared vision: to create a recording studio that prioritized both cutting-edge technology and a comfortable, inspiring environment for artists. Initially, Sonic Sanctuary Studios started small, operating out of a converted warehouse space in the Arts District. As demand grew, Sonic Sanctuary Studios expanded, moving to its current location on Sunset Boulevard in 2015. This larger facility allowed for the addition of new recording spaces, a dedicated mixing suite, and a state-of-the-art mastering room.
